Výstavy se zúčastním jako porotce SAQA (s Brendou Wroe) včetně přednášky o art quiltu. Výběr mých quiltů vystaví Muzeum Lidköping v průběhu následujícího měsíce. Kromě části kolekce Mříže byl vyžádán i nyní aktuální quilt Rok 1968 (21.8.2018 uplyne 50 let od sovětské invaze).

Part of my task in Sweden will be to judge the contest as SAQA juror (with Brenda Wroe) as well as deliver a presentation about art quilts. Some of mine quilts selected by the organizers will be shown at the Lidköping Museum for another month. The choice includes quilts from the BARS series as well as Year 1968 (21.8.2018 is the 50th anniversary of the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia).

V samostatné galerii představím průřez materiálových výzev Art klubu za posledních 10 let. Kolekce „Příběh materiálů“ nabídne quilty z let 2009 až 2018 (hadr, rez, krajka, hedvábí, vlna, len, kůže, denim, samet, tvíd, doplněné o korálky a Evolon).

My gallery will bring an overview of material challenges for the Art Quilt Club CZ throuhout th elat 10 years. Colelction „Material Story“ shows quilts from 2009 till 2018 (cleaning towel, rust dyed, lace, silk, wool, linen, leather, denim, velvet, tweed, more to this beads and Evolon).

Budu vystavovat v kolekci Art quilt klubu quilt z Tvídu (nový kus kolekce Mříže) a spolu s členkami Art Quilt Harbour dva na sebe navazující quilty s tématem Vlny.

The art Quilt Club CZ collection will include my tweed quilt (new addition to the BARS Collection). Together with other members  of the Art Quilt Harbour group 2 new connecting quilts will be displayed based on the 2018 theme Vaves.
