Do letošní prestižní soutěže na téma Reflection byl přijat i můj quilt s názvem „Reflect and Remember“ (volně česky přeloženo „Nezapomínejme“. Použila jsem fragmenty fotografií památníku obětem pochodů smrti. Originální reliéf se nachází přímo v Sainte Marie aux Minex v parčíku proti divadlu. Quilt bude následně věnován místní radnici.

The 2015 Contest Prestige was based on „Reflection“ as a theme. I am proud that my quilt „Reflect and Remember“ was chosen to be part of the selected collection. Inspired by the monument to victims of death marches, which is located directly in St. Marie aux Mines opposite the Theatre, the quilts use some photocopied fragments of this memorial. The quilt will be donated to the local Town Hall after the usual European tour.

Moje kolekce Červená byla pozvána na největší německou textilní výstavu, kterou v Karlsruhe pořádá hlavní evropský vydavatel odborných a kreativních časopisů PARTNER Medienservices GmbH. Pro návštěvníky je připraven kompletní katalog celé kolekce ve dvou formátech a pohlednice.

My RED Collection was invited to the largest German textile event that is annually held in Karlsruhe by PARTNER Medienservice GmbH, the leading editor of patchwork and creative magazines in Europe. Collection catalogs in two sizes, as well as postcards, will be offered to the visitors.

Přípravy na nadcházející ročník jsou v plném proudu. Věřím, že se „sladím“ s hlavními hosty K. Fassettem a B. Mablym a prezentací své poslední kolekce „Červená“ potvrdím nezastupitelnou roli barvy v textilní tvorbě. Připravuji i quilt do kolekce Art Quilt klubu CZ na téma Kůže a zúčastním se představení nového projektu Art Quilt Harbour.

I am already amidst all activities for the upcoming next PPM event. My gallery featuring the RED collection in the premiere for the local quilters will possibly match with the efforts of our star guests, K. Fassett and B. Mably, and their love for color in textiles. A quilt with Leather as compulsory material for the Art Quilt Club CZ will be shown. A new project – Art Quilt Harbour – was born for a smaller group of art quilters; I am currently working through my contribution.

Ve dnech 18.-21.9.2014 se ve francouzském St.Marie aux Mines koná již 20.ročník největší evropské výstavy European Patchwork Meeting. V expozici č. 10 (kostel St. Louis) bude instalována má premiérová kolekce na téma Červená (Red). 23 quiltů (z toho 20 vytvořených speciálně pro tuto příležitost) nabídne nejen různorodé odstíny jedné barvy, ale i různorodé textilní materiály a techniky.

The largest European quilt show European Patchwork Meeting, will take place in St. Marie aux Mines from September 18th till 21st, 2014. Exposition No. 10 (St. Louis Church) will host my solo exhibition – the premiere collection RED. In total, there will be 23 quilts (20 of them created especially for this venue) showing not only all shades of red color but also different materials and textile techniques.

Připravy 8. PPM ve dnech 4.-6.4.2014 jsou již v plném proudu. Pro českou premiéru a následné výstavy cyklu LEN připravuji quilt s názvem Palmeral.

Preparations for the 8th PPM from April 4th till 6th have started. Among others, the premier collection of the Czech Art Quilt Club LINEN will be shown incl. my new quilt Palmeral.
